About us
Bitácora Bursátil is an independent editorial desk that reviews access to trading platforms from the point of view of a reader in Mexico. We are not a platform, we do not trade for anyone and we do not administer accounts: we write guides so you understand how a product works before you put money into it.
This site is dedicated to Pocket Broker, the name many Mexican users search for when they mean the Pocket Option platform. We explain how you log in, how the app behaves, how deposits and withdrawals work with local methods, what identity verification involves and what public reviews actually say. We also say plainly that this is an international platform operating outside Mexican supervision, and that fixed-time options are a high-risk product.
Who writes here
The editor in charge is Renata Villalpando, Trading Platforms Editor. Her remit is specific: decide which questions each guide has to answer, check that what we publish holds up against sources anyone can consult, and block any claim that sounds better than the evidence allows. If a page promises a result, it does not go out.
That responsibility includes the uncomfortable part: when the honest answer to a question is "it depends" or "this cannot be confirmed", the guide says so instead of filling the gap with an invented figure.
How each page is researched
We work with public, verifiable material, and always in the same order:
- The platform's own documentation. Funding pages, conditions, help articles and verification requirements. That is the primary source for anything operational.
- What users are actually asking. Real searches set the outline of every guide: if people ask about a stuck withdrawal, that section exists.
- Public discussion, cross-checked. Forums, reviews and comments are used to spot patterns of complaint, never to quote an isolated case as if it were the rule.
- Consistency across our own guides. If two pages on this site contradict each other, one of them is wrong and gets fixed.
A guide is revisited when something that affects it changes, not on a fixed date in the calendar.
What this site does not do
We would rather say it up front than have you work it out while reading. There are things other sites claim to do and we do not:
- We run no hands-on testing. We do not open funded accounts to time withdrawals or measure execution. A test like that, run once from a single account, does not represent what will happen to you, and presenting it as evidence would be selling a certainty we do not have.
- We publish no performance benchmarks. Any measurement of speed, payouts or results would depend on the method, the country and the moment; without being able to repeat it under controlled conditions, the number misleads more than it informs.
- We run no user surveys. We have no panel of verified readers, so we are not going to present impressions as if they were data.
- We give no scores or star ratings. A rating compresses into one symbol something that only makes sense explained: a platform can suit you very well and suit the next reader of the same page very badly. We would rather tell you who it works for and who it does not.
- We give no financial advice. Nothing we publish is an investment recommendation or a signal to trade.
Why you will not find figures here
These guides carry no minimum amounts, no fees, no payout percentages, no withdrawal times in hours and no bonus sizes. That is not an oversight, it is an editorial decision. Those values change, they depend on the payment method and the country, and a stale number published with the air of a hard fact costs money to whoever believed it. We handle those topics qualitatively — what conditions a withdrawal, which requirements exist, where the process usually stalls — and send you to the platform's own pages for the figure that is current at the moment you are reading.
If you ever see a hard number on this site, it is a mistake and we want to hear about it.
Errors and corrections
When something is wrong, we correct it on the page where it appeared, not in a note tucked away somewhere. If a change alters the meaning of what you had already read, we leave that visible in the text instead of quietly rewriting history. If you spotted an inaccuracy, write to us from the contact page: corrections that come with a public source are the ones handled fastest.
How the site is funded
This site is free for you and is funded by affiliate marketing: we may earn a commission if you open an account through our links, at no extra cost to you. That commission does not buy a favourable review, does not set the order of anything and does not erase the limitations flagged in every guide — starting with the most important one, that the platform operates outside Mexican supervision. The full detail is in our affiliate disclosure.
Risk warning
Trading fixed-time options carries a high risk of losing your capital, and most retail accounts lose money. Trade only with money you can afford to lose, and only after you understand the product. Content is for readers of legal age.
